Faith & Flurries

"Faith & Flurries" Goose feather snowflakes drift lazily from a grey evening sky blanketing sacred ground surrounding the little country church of the wild woods.(2015)

Photographer's Notes - As I was traveling rural Warren County, NC, I paid an evening visit to The Chapel of The Good Shepard. While there, I noticed a few stray flurries drifting through the air and with a sudden exhaled winter breath, the grey skies opened up with a flurry of good old fashioned goose feather snowflakes reminiscent of vintage snow globe and I felt truly blessed to have witnessed the event as it only lasted for 15 fleeting minutes.
